Course Access Settings (Admin Users)

It is important to ensure that you enable access to the users you want to take a specific course. The Allow Anyone to Use Credits checkbox lets you control who can take which course.

The setting is useful if you have purchased different courses and need to assign them to specific individuals. If the Allow Anyone to Use Credits checkbox is ticked, online training courses are available to everyone by default. For most online courses, the checkbox is ticked as standard and you will need to disable access to some individuals if required.
 
To Allow Anyone to have Access to a Course
  1. Ensure that you have selected the correct course in the Course drop-down box.

  2. Tick the Allow Anyone to Use Credits checkbox. This is set as the standard for most courses. 

  3. To disable access for specific users, check the relevant checkbox in the Disable Access column next to the person you want to restrict access to.

For Advanced Courses 
- The Food Hygiene Level 3 and the Designated Safeguarding Lead course

The Allow Anyone to Use Credits checkbox is unticked by default and course access is disabled for all staff. You can then enable access for specific individuals. This ensures that only a select group of individuals with certain roles or responsibilities can access these courses. 
  1. To enable access to users, tick the relevant user's checkbox in the Enable Access column.
